Northern Railway has announced to organize additional trips of several summer special trains going to different destinations.
Indian Railways Summer Special Trains: Northern Railway on Monday (July 1) announced the extension of summer special trains to reduce the extra rush and for the convenience of passengers. According to a statement from Northern Railway, Indian Railways has decided to continue 13 trains with multiple journeys till July 31 to ensure better travel for passengers to different stations.
The statement issued by the Railways said, ‘It is notified for the information of the general public that for the convenience of rail passengers and to reduce the extra rush, the Railways has decided to extend the trip of the following Summer Special Trains.’
Northern Railway summer special train list
The railway authorities have announced the extension of the trains given below.
- Train number 09425/09426 will operate additional trips between Sabarmati and Haridwar from 11 July 2024 to 31 July 2024. A total of 6 trips will be conducted in each direction.
- Train number 09195/09196 running between Vadodara and Mau will conduct four more trips on Saturdays and Sundays till 31 July 2024.
- Train number 09417/09418 running between Ahmedabad and Danapur has been extended by a total of 5 trips on Monday and Tuesday till the end of July.
- Train number 09557/09558 is being run between Bhavnagar Terminus and Delhi Cantt and a total of four additional trips will be run on Fridays and Saturdays till 31 July 2024.
- Train number 09405/09406 running between Sabarmati and Patna will be organized 5 trips on Tuesdays and Thursdays till the end of July.
- Train number 09097/09098 running between Mumbai Bandra Terminus and Svdk Katra will be organized four additional trips on Sundays and Tuesdays till 31 July 2024.
- Train No. 09525/09526 running between Hapa and Naharlagun (Itanagar) will operate a total of five trips on Wednesdays and Saturdays till the end of July.
- Train No. 09183/09184 running from Mumbai Central to Banaras will be extended for five trips on Wednesdays and Fridays respectively till July 31, 2024.
- Train No. 09309/09310 between Indore and Hazrat Nizamuddin will operate eight additional trips on Fridays, Sundays, Mondays and Saturdays respectively till the end of July.
- Train No. 09075/09076 running between Mumbai Central and Kathgodam will be extended for five trips on Wednesdays and Thursdays respectively till July 31, 2024.
- Train number 09189/09190 connecting Mumbai Central and Katihar will run four more trips on Saturdays and Tuesdays respectively till the end of July.
- Train number 09523/09524 running from Okha to Delhi Sarai Rohilla has been extended for five trips on Tuesdays and Wednesdays respectively till July 31, 2024.
- Train number 04137/04138 between Gwalior and Barauni will be extended for eight trips on Sundays, Wednesdays, Mondays and Thursdays respectively from July 7, 2024 to August 1, 2024.
