Deutsche Bank experts have increased the core inflation rate by 0.20 percent to 3.8 percent.

The report said that the effect of the increase in telecom tariff plan will start showing from July and this increase will increase the main inflation rate by more than 0.85 percent on a month-on-month basis. He said, ‘Overall, the main inflation rate may increase by 0.20 percent in the current financial year (2024-25) due to the increase in tariff in the telecom sector. In view of this, we have changed our basic inflation rate forecast for the current financial year from the earlier average of 3.6 percent to 3.8 percent.’
