Ahead of the launch, the microsite of the upcoming tab has gone live, in which the company has teased its design, color options and some special specifications. The new version will join the lineup with the Redmi Pad SE Wi-Fi variant, which was launched in India in April this year with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 chipset and 11-inch LCD screen. The design of the 4G variant seems to be slightly different from the existing Wi-Fi variant. Let’s take a look at the details revealed so far.
Redmi Pad SE 4G will be launched on this day
The company revealed that the Redmi Pad SE 4G will launch in India on July 29. A dedicated live microsite for the tablet shows that it will support up to 128GB of onboard storage. It will have support for HD screen and Dolby Atmos surround sound.
The design of the rear camera module of the upcoming Redmi Pad SE 4G is shown to be different from the existing Wi-Fi variant. The Wi-Fi model has a rectangular camera module, while the 4G version is seen to have a round rear camera module. The microsite shows the back cover of the tablet with an extendable strap, which can be used as a grip or stand.
According to the promotional image, the Redmi Pad SE 4G is teased to come in blue and green colors. The company may tease some more information about the upcoming tab in the coming days.
What will be special in Redmi Pad SE 4G (possible)
The Redmi Pad SE 4G was previously spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website as well as the IMEI database and the FCC certification site. These listings show that the tablet with model number 24076RP19I will have an 8.7-inch display and run on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 1.0 based on Android 14. It is also expected to support Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Redmi Pad SE Wi-Fi variant price and features
The Redmi Pad SE with Wi-Fi connectivity was launched in India in April this year. It is priced at Rs 12,999 for the 4GB+128GB variant, Rs 13,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant, and Rs 14,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant. It is powered by a 6nm octa-core Snapdragon 680 chipset and features an 11-inch 90Hz WUXGA LCD screen. It runs on MIUI Pad 14 based on Android 13 and has an 8-megapixel rear camera as well as a 5-megapixel front camera. The tablet packs a 8000mAh battery that supports 10W wired charging.
