But cyber criminals are trying to cheat people by using the rapidly digitalizing services. The new case is related to Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL). It is a government company that supplies PNG i.e. cooking gas through pipeline. Fraudsters are trying to trap its customers in the name of IGL. Therefore, IGL has alerted its customers.
They are claiming to be IGL officials
Actually, fraudsters are sending messages to customers claiming to be IGL officials. The message says that the supply will be cut if the bill is not paid. There is a link with it, on clicking which, it is written that the payment can be made. IGL has alerted its customers in this regard.

IGL said that Dear Customer, it has come to our notice that persons claiming to be IGL officials are sending fraudulent messages, threatening to stop your gas supply if the bill is not paid. Please ignore such messages and never pay through the link or cash given in such messages. Pay your bills only through IGL authorized channels.
