How to check if PAN card is active or not
- Visit the Income Tax website (https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/).
- Then click on Know Your PAN Status in the Quick Links menu.
- Enter your PAN number, date of birth and name linked to the PAN card.
- Now click on the Submit button.
- The status of your PAN card will appear on your screen.
Work from NSDL website
- First of all visit the NSDL website (https://eservices.nsdl.com/).
- After this click on the PAN card status inquiry tab and then enter the PAN card number and date of birth.
- Then click on the submit button and the status of your PAN card will also be visible on the screen.
UTI PAN Service Center
- You can also check your PAN card status by visiting the nearest UTI PAN Service Center.
- You will have to submit your PAN card and identity proof.
- The center employee will then tell you the status of your PAN card.
Check through message
- Apart from this, you can also check the status of your PAN card through message.
- Message the PAN number to 567678 from the mobile number linked to your PAN card.
- You will receive a message in which the status of your PAN card will be known.
