Bullion trader and member of Indian Bullion Jewelers Association Manish Sharma told Local 18 that there has been a jump in the price of gold and silver. There has been a jump of Rs 1,500 in the price of silver per kg. Today silver will be sold at the rate of Rs 97,500 per kg. Whereas till yesterday (Thursday) evening silver was sold at the rate of Rs 96,000.
Rise in gold prices
Manish Sharma said that there has been a rise in the prices of 22 carat and 24 carat gold. 22 carat gold was sold at Rs 68,050 per 10 grams yesterday evening. Today its price has been fixed at Rs 68,700. That is, an increase of Rs 650 has been seen in the price. On Thursday, people bought 24 carat gold at the rate of Rs 71,450 per 10 grams. Today its price has been fixed at Rs 72,140. That is, an increase of Rs 690 has been seen in the price.
