Airtel has given a big relief to subscribers who are not enjoying unlimited 5G data benefits with their current active plans. These users can opt for booster plans starting at just 51 rupees for a recharge.
At the beginning of this month, Indian Airtel, a leading company in the Indian telecom market, raised the prices of its recharge plans. Along with this, the company also changed the terms for unlimited 5G data. However, Airtel has provided relief for those who want unlimited 5G data at a low cost. These new plans begin at just 51 rupees.
Previously, Airtel users could enjoy unlimited 5G data with recharge plans priced at 239 rupees or higher. However, this is no longer true. Now, the company only provides unlimited 5G data with plans that offer 4G users 2GB or more of daily data. As a result, users on cheaper plans do not get to experience unlimited 5G.
New Airtel booster packs come as a relief
Users who have recharged with plans providing less than 2GB of daily data can switch to the new booster plans. Upon choosing these plans, you will begin to enjoy unlimited 5G data. These plans are priced at 51 rupees, 101 rupees, and 151 rupees, offering extra data increments of 3GB, 6GB, and 9GB respectively.
Booster plans have the same validity as your existing active plan. For example, if your current plan is valid for the next 46 days and you recharge with the 51 rupees booster plan, you’ll enjoy unlimited 5G data for the next 46 days. Meanwhile, 4G users will receive an extra 3GB of data with the same validity period.
Some important conditions to get 5G data
Accessing 5G internet requires owning a 5G smartphone and ensuring AirTel’s 5G services are accessible in your location. The company is currently providing unlimited 5G data alongside plans that include 2GB or more of daily data.
On the other hand, if you have recharged with a plan providing 1GB or 1.5GB daily data, you will qualify for unlimited 5G data benefits by opting for the new boosters.
