Due to operational ease, the route of many trains has been changed due to pre non interlocking / non interlocking work of yard remodeling of Khandwa station in the context of gauge conversion work of Akola-Ratlam section. This includes many trains from UP, Bihar, Maharashtra. Apart from this, many trains have been rescheduled. In such a situation, passengers are advised to plan their journey only after checking the schedule.

The cancellation of 15065 Gorakhpur-Panvel Express running from Gorakhpur on 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20 and 21 July 2024 has been ended and restored. This train will be run via the diverted route Bhopal-Ratlam-Vadodara-Surat-Vasai Road-Panvel. As a result of the route change, this train will not stop at Rani Kamalapati, Itarsi, Harda, Khandwa, Bhusaval, Nashik Road and Kalyan stations.

This train will be run via the diverted route Panvel-Vasai Road-Surat-Vadodara-Ratlam-Bhopal. As a result of the route change, this train will not stop at Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Harda, Itarsi and Rani Kamalapati stations.
The cancellation of 12168 Banaras-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express running from Banaras from 16 to 21 July 2024 has been reinstated. This train will run via the diverted route Itarsi-Bhopal-Ratlam-Vadodara-Surat-Vasai Road and on the scheduled route on 22 and 23 July 2024. As a result of the route change, this train will not stop at Rani Kamalapati, Itarsi, Harda, Khandwa, Bhusaval, Nashik Road and Kalyan stations.
The cancellation of 12167 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Banaras Express running from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus from 15 to 21 July 2024 has been reinstated. This train will run via the diverted route Vasai Road-Surat-Vadodara-Ratlam-Bhopal-Itarsi and on 14 July 2024 on the scheduled route. As a result of the change in route, this train will not stop at Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Harda, Itarsi and Rani Kamalapati stations.

This train will run via the diverted route Bhopal- Ratlam- Vadodara- Surat. As a result of the change in route, this train will not stop at Rani Kamalapati, Itarsi, Harda, Khandwa, Bhusaval, Nashik Road and Kalyan stations.
The cancellation of 15068 Bandra Terminus-Gorakhpur Express running from Bandra Terminus on 19 July 2024 has been revoked and restored. This train will run via the diverted route Surat- Vadodara- Ratlam- Bhopal. As a result of the change in route, this train will not stop at Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Harda, Itarsi and Rani Kamalapati stations.
20104 Gorakhpur-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express running from Gorakhpur on 21st July, 2024 will be run via the diverted route Itarsi-Narkhed-Badnera-Bhusaval. As a result of the route change, this train will not stop at Khandwa station.

15182 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Mau Express leaving from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on 22nd July, 2024 will be rescheduled by 02 hours from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and will run at 13.10 instead of 11.10 hrs.
