The masked Aadhaar card is also issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). It is not only different from the normal Aadhaar but is also more secure than it.
Masked Aadhaar Benefits: Aadhar Card has become a very necessary and important document today. It has now become the strongest proof of our identity. Due to the increasing utility of Aadhar, there is a need to be more vigilant about it. This is because many cyber criminals are now misusing the Aadhar of common people and committing financial fraud, as well as using it in some criminal activities. If you also want that no one can misuse your Aadhar, then you should use Masked Aadhar Card.
The Masked Aadhar Card is also issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). It is not only different from the common Aadhar but is also more secure than it. The common Aadhar card has 12 digit Aadhar numbers printed on it. Only the last 4 numbers are printed in the Masked Aadhar. The first 8 Aadhaar numbers of the Aadhaar card are written as ‘XXXX-XXXX’ in the masked Aadhaar card ID. In this way, the Aadhaar card number of the Aadhaar card holder becomes invisible to strangers, which prevents misuse of anyone’s Aadhaar.
Where can you use it?
The masked Aadhaar card is completely valid. It is issued by UIDAI only. The masked Aadhaar card can be used at every place where the normal Aadhaar card is used. UIDAI has also appealed to people several times to give the masked Aadhaar card instead of giving the photocopy of the normal Aadhaar card so that misuse of Aadhaar can be avoided.
