Pimpri-Chinchwad ATB (Anti Terrorist Branch) has succeeded in cancelling the fake Indian passports of 42 Bangladeshi intruders. All the passports were made with the help of fake documents. This came to light after questioning the passport agent who was in contact with the Bangladeshis.
Indian Passport Holders: It has come to light many times that Bangladeshis are living illegally in Maharashtra. There have been many cases of Indian passports being confiscated from them on the basis of fake documents. Pimpri-Chinchwad ATB (Anti Terrorist Branch) has succeeded in cancelling the Indian passports of 42 Bangladeshi intruders.
In January, ATB received confidential information that five Bangladeshis were living in Sai Nagar under the limits of Nigdi police station. Nigdi police traced them and arrested them. Meanwhile, the police also questioned the passport agent who was in contact with the Bangladeshis. That passport agent was in contact with Bangladeshi citizens since 2015.
ATB took action
With the help of police information and mobile phone, Pimpri-Chinchwad ATB, Foreign National Registration Department and Special Branch 2 contacted the Regional Passport Office Pune to cancel the passports of 42 Bangladeshis. They were given detailed information about this.

42 passports were made on the basis of fake documents. Handling the matter very sensitively, Pune Passport Office cancelled the Indian passports of 42 Bangladeshi intruders. This entire process took six months. This action has been taken under the guidance of Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissioner Vinay Kumar Chaubey.
