UPI does not reveal much information about the other person, so transfer money via NEFT/IMPS. You get additional security in sending money through NEFT/IMPS, as it reveals the identity of the people.
Do not hurry
Do not transfer money in a hurry, because once the money goes to the wrong account, it becomes difficult to get it back. In such a situation, before sending money, check the name, account number, IFSC code, everything thoroughly.
Test by sending less money
Before sending the entire amount, test it by sending 1-2 rupees once, so that if there is any problem then you can know. If there is any problem and the money does not reach the other person’s account then understand that you have made some mistake and check all the information again.
Pay by cheque
If you have to pay money to an unknown company, try to pay by cheque, fraud will not happen. When paying by cheque, it is encashed only after thorough investigation by the bank, which reduces the chances of fraud to a great extent.
