Vande Bharat Express: Railways has given clarification on the incident of water leakage from the roof of Delhi-Varanasi Vande Bharat Express. Railways says that water leaked in the coach due to temporary blockage in the pipes.
Earlier, many users on social media platform X had shared a video of water dripping from the roof of Vande Bharat Express (22416) going from Delhi to Varanasi. In the video, it can be seen that water is leaking like a fountain in the coach of the train. A user wrote that due to this he had to travel standing from Prayagraj to Varanasi.
Northern Railway has clarified on this video shared by a user on X that due to temporary blockage in the pipes, some water leaked in the coach. When the train staff noticed it, they fixed it. Sorry for the inconvenience caused due to this.
Dead cockroach was found in food of Vande Bharat train
Just last month, a passenger had complained about finding dead cockroach in food in Vande Bharat Express train. According to the passenger, on June 18, during the journey from Bhopal to Agra Junction by Vande Bharat Express, a dead cockroach was found in the food served by IRCTC.
The passenger shared the pictures of the food on X, after which many users also expressed surprise. Who raised questions on the quality of food served in Indian trains. IRCTC also took cognizance of this matter. IRCTC said in response that we apologize for your travel experience. The matter has been taken seriously and appropriate fine has been imposed against the concerned service provider. We have also intensified monitoring in the matter.
